Pre-Registration at www.scenariosupply.com NO WALK ON TEAMS THE DAY OF THE EVENT. YOU MUST PREREGISTER! Skill Stations and event overview: 1. ENDURANCE SHOT: Each team starts at FB Rex and leaves in 5 minute increments. Teams will run, in FULL GEAR, west to OP Alpha then north to the power lines below FB Bravo. There will be a sniper’s hide or shooting position there in the power lines, designated by two orange cones. All shots must be made from there. 2 HVT target (silhouettes) will be placed in the tower in FB Bravo. Each team has 4 shots in order to hit each target just once per target. There will be targets along the run that the SHOOTERS must shoot and clear. Targets missed along the run, will cost 25 points deducted from the final event score. If the SHOOTERS miss both shots, then the team goes down as run score only for this event. The paintball must break to score a hit. Both Sniper and Spotter may shoot in this event. Run time will be deducted from 1000 for final points tally. Example: Run the course in 5:22, deducted from 1000 = 478 + 250 for each hit on the HVT = 978 points. 2. TAPSAC COURSE: Each Sniper/Spotter team must “leap-frog” through the target course, and shoots falling targets in each bay for a timed score. From the designated starting point, the Spotter will run to the lane #1 shooting block, and clear the first lane. After lane #1 is clear, the Spotter yells “CLEAR” and the Sniper runs to and clears the second lane. The same for all 5 lanes. Once the Spotter clears lane #5 and yells “CLEAR” the time stops. The Spotter can use any paintball marker in any firing mode. The sniper must shoot with a pistol or any paintball marker in semi-auto only. If the Sniper’s marker shoots in any firing mode other than semi-auto, the team goes scoreless for this event. 50 points will be deducted from the Team’s final event score for every target missed. The Teams must run the course in full gear. Both Sniper and Spotter shoot in this event. Run time is deducted from 500 for final points tally minus points for targets missed. Example: run time is 45 seconds subtracted from 500 = 455 points (minus any targets missed.) 3. ESTIMATED RANGE BOX: Each Sniper/Spotter Team will enter and assume the prone position in the Estimated Range Box at FB Rex. Each team will be given a Range Card. When the front door of the range box is opened, the Team will then have 5 minutes to estimate the ranges of 5 targets, placed at various distances, in feet or yards. Mildots, or any method other than electronic range finders, can be used for target range estimation. The targets are all sized at 24 inches tall by 24 inches wide. After 5 minutes the door will close, and the Team must hand the score keeper their target range estimations on the range card provided for them. 50 points for each correct range estimation of the 5 targets. The door will open once more, and the team will have 5 minutes to shoot each target 5 times MAXIMUM. All 5 targets must be engaged. Each target value ranges from 10 points for closest target, and up to 50 points for the farthest target, per shot. The Sniper is the only shooter allowed to shoot in this event, and is ammo capped at 30 paintballs, (30 is for the case that you break a ball in the breach or barrel). Max score for this event is 1000 points. NO ELECTRONIC RANGE FINDERS ALLOWED!!! 4. URBAN TARGET ACQUISITIONS: Each team will start in Deadzone #4, and be given 60 seconds to memorize the photos of 5 “high value targets.” When ready, the team must run to and enter the conex buildings in Sim City. Once in the conex, the teams must clear each room of red enemy targets. Each enemy target in the rooms is worth 50 points. Teams must then search building windows and doors for their 5 memorized “high value” targets inside the city. Each HVT is worth 150 points. Once the Team locates their “high value” targets, they must shoot them at least once per target, (The paintball must break). There will be 20+ targets total in the city. The teams have 5 minutes to get in, clear the conex building and shoot their targets. Teams are not scored by the quickest time for this event. There is a MAX of 1000 points for this event. For every civilian target shot, that team will be minus 50 points. Paintball Barrels (or any equipment) sticking through a window or door is a 50 point “broken concealment” penalty. During their entrance into the city, there will be “flash bangs” blank fire, smoke and all types of combat distractions to confuse the teams. Both Sniper and Spotter will shoot. Team work and communication is a must for this event. 5. ONE HOUR STALK: Each team will be given 30 seconds to memorize a photo of TWO High Value Targets. Each team will leave DZ4 in 10 to 15 minute increments, and begin their 1 hour stalk to the targets. The target locations will be given by grid coordinates. Once a team locates the targets, they must radio Game Control for permission to shoot each target. Once they have been given permission to shoot, the team will have a 2 minute window to shoot each target. Each Team will be allowed 2 shots to hit each target, and the paintball must break. A referee will confirm the kill after which, the Team must stay hidden in place for 30 seconds. If the referee spots the team’s hide, (within a reasonable amount of effort, and only traveling on a predetermined route) or that team fails to shoot inside the 2 minute window, that team will be given a “NO KILL” which will leave that team with a minimum score of 250 points for the Stalk Event. If “NO kill shot” is ever made then, that team goes minimum score for the stalk event. Each team has 1 hour to score their kills, and complete the event. Either the Sniper OR the Spotter can make the kill shots but, permission to shoot must be radioed in and, only TWO shots are permitted per each target. Max score for this event is 1000 points, 500 points per HVT. If discovered by enemy patrols, that discovered player must respawn from any CDWC Deadzone and begin their approach to the target over. 6. MYSTERY EVENT: A situational event where participants have no prior knowledge of the skill sets necessary to complete the tasking. Previous year’s mystery events have included engaging a moving target, shooting from a moving platform, night stalk, and sniper initiated assaults. Participant teams will be chosen randomly and will be sequestered from other challengers. The mystery event will test the skill of the participants ability to rapidly process a tactical situation, develop an actionable plan, and deploy immediately. Critical thinking, problem solving and a high level of induced stress make the mystery events some of the most enjoyable and challenging stages of the competition.
